Domingo Rodriguez SS13 written by John Battiste

Upcoming menswear designer Domingo graduated university in 2008, and going on to win the menswear award at the graduate fashion week. In addition, he gained the Harold Tillman scholarship at London College of Fashion. He has successfully worked with the like of Phil-Nom leather, Saga furs and Kooenhangen furs whilst acquiring skills from Kim Jones and Carolyn Massessy. His many achievement include collaborating with Asos.com for Domingo for Asos, winning the Wolf & Badger graduate design award & his SS11 collection showcased at Paris Fashion Week 2010 on Esquire magazines '7 Brilliant Brits'

What I like about domingo's collection is the way it accentuates the male physique without being to revealing or too sexualised. The softness of the material and design fit like a glove together in achieving that body feel his collection has to it. The collection represents the open relationship between how men of nowadays view fashion by  creating simplicity yet stylishness. I like it because, it could be worn for most occasions and gives room to mix it up with other items of clothing.
