Michael Hill�s (Drake�s CEO) interest in Trevor Appleson�s work first began through the artist�s exhibitions at Hales Gallery. The current collaboration developed (after the two were recently reunited) from discussions about developing a series of photographs that represent Drake�s, inspired by Appleson�s contemporary art practice. An obvious reference point to these discussions was the well-known and established partnership between Marc Jacobs and Juergen Teller.
